The West Cork Running Festival for St Patrick's Day
St Patrick’s Day 10km - Ballydehob, West Cork
Run West Cork St Patrick’s Day events feature:
•10km road race
• Separate category for walkers
• Activities for children
Funds raised from this event go towards local schools and Schull Community Hospital

The course starts in Ballydehob, heading out along the coast run to Rossbrin beside Roaringwater Bay with its many islands, and then returns to the village again. We have done our best to make sure that there is as little main road running as possible so that you can not only enjoy the run but also the landscape and coastline of this unique part of County Cork. Specially for 2012 we had Gift Vouchers from our sponsors, The Edge
€100 for 1st €75 for 2nd and €25 for 3rd place in both Men’s and Women’s Categories
We also had a voucher for sports sessions with Munster Treatment Roomsfor the 1st and 2nd places in the Running and Walking categories.
Entry fee was €15.00 including electronic timing chip.

West Cork and the Mizen peninsula are beautiful parts of Ireland. Why not enjoy the St Patrick’s Day break and explore this wonderful corner of Ireland. Take time before the St Patrick’s Day 10km to prepare, time afterwards to relax, with plenty of things to do for the runners and non-runners. And don’t forget Ballydehob’s St Patrick’s Day parade immediately after the race.
